Aside from the exciting nightlife and excellent beaches, Magaluf also offers the chance to visit the Western Park Crazy Wet West, with its Jacuzzis, water rides and equestrian shows. The resort is also well known for the popular Aqualand Magaluf, which offers a host of enjoyable water slides. The kids will thank you for a day trip in either of these attractions.

Magaluf benefits from three superb beaches, Mallorca Beach, Palma Nova Beach and Magaluf Beach. All are near to your chosen hotel complex, and most offer beach games and watersports organised by your hotel. So if you fancy trying your hand at windsurfing, diving or jet-skiing – or simply want to top up the tan – there are activities to suit everyone.

Magaluf has a great beach that goes a long way out to sea and is kept in great order. There are smashing bars to discover on your holiday and you’ll be in the clubbing capital of the island in Magaluf. Many of Europe’s top DJs make it over here in the summer. There’s Boomerangs and its famous popcorn nights, where you can swim in 2000lbs of popcorn – eating your way to safety, which sounds slightly unhygienic, if not dangerous to us. Some kind of hat might be in order. BCM is pretty cool too, with lots of guest DJs, laser shows, and naughty ladies dancing about with their breasticles akimbo. How rude!

However, crazy clubs and naughty dancing women are not the be all and end all of a Magaluf holiday. You can hire bikes and explore more of the island, or take a walking tour that takes you some or all of the way up the 4,000 feet elevations of the island and reveals views of quite a different kind to the ones you’ll get in BCM.

The resort also offers a host of opportunities for those who love shopping. Most souvenir shops and local supermarkets have late opening hours, while traditional craft and produce markets can be found dotted around the small towns in the region.

And if you fancy a night out from the hotel bar, you’ll find a good choice of restaurants and bars in Magaluf itself, plus of course those fantastic clubs to go on to later in the evening. Needless to say, whatever you choose to do in Magaluf, you’re sure to have a holiday to remember.
